I have been photographing weddings for 10 years. my focus in weddings is photographing genuine feelings and moments - i SPECIALIZE IN CAPTURING THE TIMES AND SECONDS THAT YOU WEREN’T EVEN AWARE HAPPENED DURING YOUR BUSY DAY. using fun prompts, bringing music and really connecting with your wedding and your vibe helps loosen everyone up and makes your special day a little extra special AND NATUAL LOOKING when you look back on all the memories that were created during it! I almost guarantee you will laugh during YOUR WEDDING OR ANY SESSION, because i’m awkward and put my foot in my mouth a lot… so feel free to laugh at me, ITS A LOT. i CAN BE A LOT… i KNOW. You’re welcomE!

for your newborn:

I Have been focused on Studio newborns for over 6 years. i HAVE EXTENSIVE TRAINING IN NEWBORN SAFETY AND OFFER A GENTLE, KNOWLEDGABLE PRESENCE FOR NEW AND EXPERIENCED PARENTS ALIKE. yOUR BABY IS IN GOOD HANDS, AND HONESTLY, i love talking about what it was like having your baby… give me every detail that you think might be too gross to share with the average person. I am a mom, a friend and a lover of all little newcomers.

Im rACHEL and my heart belongs to the mountains and Lakes.

We moved to Kamloops from Alberta in 2015 AND once we settled in I decided to stay for A WHILE, BUT HONESTLY. tHE WORLD IS SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE, WHY NOT EXPLORE, RIGHT? i CURRENTLY WORK WITH WEDDING CLIENTS LOCATED ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD, BUT MOSTLY ANYWHERE IN alBERTA OR bc!

 A few important pieces of information about me: I’m a feeder. If I like you, I’ll always be offering you snacks or drinks, sometimes it’s awkward… but I literally can’t stop.

I love candy. I prefer stale, sour candy but i’m not picky. If you bring candy to our session I’ll hug you because I’m a hugger.  

I’m terrible at laundry and my favourite hobby is watering my plant babies.

I have two very handsome boys who ride bikes, play hockey and love using my old cameras to snap photos of their LEGO creations.

 Like a lot of photographers, I’ve loved photography for as long as I can remember, but I got my first DSLR camera in 2008 when I went solo backpacking across South America. I loved the idea of documenting emotions in amazing and every day events. I’ve been shooting weddings for about 10 years now and photographing babies for 6 or so. I have to say, Capturing the most incredible moments of connection in peoples lives really brings me to life over and over again!
